The Polish Press Law Association was founded in 2009 as a non-profit association and a neutral platform of experts and researchers from all academic units in Poland. The main aim of PPLA is to conduct research and promote ideas of freedom of speech, European and Polish media law and media policy.  PPLA organises conferences and publishes results of research in its own series of books.
